Join the Community Road Show!

Cavan Community Forum is hosting the Community Road Show at the Virginia Show this year on Saturday 31 July. This will be a wonderful opportunity for community groups to come and ‘show off’ the work that they do. We will be celebrating our activities as volunteers and promote the work we do within our communities – with photos, products, and even demonstrations of the activities. The aim is celebration – to celebrate and promote what we do and to attract more people to join us.

It  is also a great networking opportunity, meeting other groups and mingling with show goers! It will be great craic. Please register for space with Kate Ennals by 12 July on 0494378583. kateennals@cavancoco.ie . Or contact Declan Fitzpatrick on 0872367628

 Objectives of Cavan Community Forum

  • To be a representative voice for the community sector in Cavan
  •  To share information, experience and tackle common problems.
  • To make representations on issues that affect communities in Cavan.
  • To be a vehicle for local consultation.
  • To involve people in the social, cultural and economic activities in the county.

As a Community & Voluntary Group in County Cavan, you can now create your own web-site as an add on to the Cavan Community Forum homepage. It is free of charge and is as easy as sending an e-mail.

Cavan community groups will be able to promote the work that they do, the local amenities in their area, the services they provide – all with a few clicks of the keys! Visitors and local people alike will be able to check in to find out what is going on in at local level. It is very easy to set up and even easier to up date.

Follow the instructions on the link  on the right.
